2 - Get Rumble's

Before children can play Rumble's Quest, you'll need to download and install the game on your devices. This guide covers supported devices, how to get the app, and what to check before your first session.


Supported Devices

Rumble's Quest runs on:

Windows 10 or 11, 4GB RAM (8GB recommended), 2GB free space

Mac

macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or later, Metal capable GPU, 2GB RAM, 2GB free space

iPad

iPad 5 (2017) or later, iOS 11+

Note: Chromebooks are not supported.

For security and performance, we recommend keeping all devices updated to the latest operating system version.


Download the Game

You can download Rumble's Quest from the Get Rumble's page in Rumble's Quest Manager.

iPad

  1. Open the App Store on your iPad

  2. Search for "Rumble's Quest"

  3. Tap Get to download

The app will install automatically.

Windows PC

  1. Log in to Rumble's Quest Manager

  2. Go to Get Rumble's in the menu

  3. Click the Windows download button

  4. Once downloaded, unzip the file and run the installer

Mac

  1. Log in to Rumble's Quest Manager

  2. Go to Get Rumble's in the menu

  3. Click the Mac download button

  4. Once downloaded, unzip the file and run the installer


Installation

iPad: The app installs automatically from the App Store. Tap the Rumble's Quest icon to launch.

Windows/Mac: Run the installer and follow the prompts. A desktop shortcut will be created (on Windows, ensure "Create desktop shortcut" is checked during installation).

Installation Notes (Windows and Mac only)

The Windows and Mac versions of Rumble's Quest are not digitally signed. This means:

Windows: You may see a SmartScreen warning. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed.

Mac: Gatekeeper may block the app. Right-click the app and select "Open", or allow it in System Settings > Privacy & Security (on older macOS versions, this is System Preferences > Security & Privacy).

Deploying via Active Directory: Your IT team may need to whitelist the application or create exceptions in Group Policy before deployment.


Firewall and Whitelisting

If your network uses a firewall, you may need to whitelist Rumble's Quest so data can be sent to the server.

Testing Connectivity

To check if whitelisting is configured correctly:

  1. Open the Rumble's Quest app

  2. Enter this test Quest Key: BERR007-4X

  3. If the arrow changes to a tick, you're connected

  4. If you see an error, check your firewall settings
